Meet Dr Ian Marr

Dr. Marr completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Stellenbosch in 1997 and qualified as a specialist surgeon from the University of Cape Town in 2007. 

He was the Head of Department of Surgery at Victoria Hospital before entering private practice in 2009. He is an accredited Bariatric Surgeon and operates within the context of The Chrysalis Clinic, a certified bariatric centre of excellence. 

He hails from a proud medical family being a fourth generation doctor and a second generation surgeon.
